In this research which was financed by the National Fund of Scientific and Technological Development, FONDECYT (Project nº 1090617), it’s analyzed levels of geometric reasoning’s students of high indexes of vulnerability state schools in the Region of Maule, Chile. For that purpose, it was implemented a Diagnostic considering the 6th grade to second year high school’s thematics, taking the model by Van-Hiele as a reference, and the distinctive attributes in the reasoning processes proposed by Gutierrez & Jaime (1998). The methodology was of a quantitative sort, developing a group sampling with a starting probabilistic random bases, of the proportional sort. The effective sampling was of 625 students, representatives of the Region. As far as the results is concerning, it is evidenced that students are in the lowest level of the geometric reasoning and with a low level of acquisition in the reasoning processes.
