LAS RAÍCES HISTÓRICAS DEL PROGRAMA ETNOMATEMÁTICAS.

Résumé

Cet article propose une introduction aux ethnomathématiques comme programme d’études, et leur histoire. Le projet de ses auteurs est de montrer que les ethnomathématiques, incluent des idées, perspectives et pratiques mathématiques d’ individus de différentes cultures ; telles idées se manifestent et se transmettent selon des modalités différentes. Toute étude de l’histoire des ethnomathématiques et des travaux s’y rapportant nous aide à clairement comprendre l’importance d’une telle perspective dans l’ apprentissage des mathématiques. Le développement des ethnomathématiques est ici documenté, principalement comme partie d’une étude du développement des idées scientifiques et mathématiques dans des groupes culturels distincts.
